Cirrus Tech has announced its partnership with R1Soft. R1Soft is a leading developer
of continuous data protection (CDP) software and services.

With the ability to specify the frequency of "recovery points" (back-ups) , clients
are able to make as many recovery points as they choose and are only limited by
their back-up storage capacity and available traffic within their hosting plan.

Some of the advantages of R1Soft's data protection solution are:
1. Near continuous backup of data: Backups system capable of providing hundreds of
recovery points per day scheduled as little as 5 or 10 minutes apart.
2. Backup management through the Plesk Control panel: Clients can manage the backup
process from their control panel themselves.
3. Bare-Metal Disaster Recovery: Restore servers directly from disk-based backup.
4. End-to-end strong encryption: Data is continuously encrypted while in storage and
during network transmission using RSA keys.

Cirrus Tech plans to offer their current remote back-up solution alongside R1Soft's
services. Cirrus's in-house backup service consists of a remote backup storage
clients can purchase as an add-on to their dedicated server. This remote drive will
appear as a network drive that clients can manage.

R1Soft's near-continuous data protection will be available for new and existing
dedicated server clients in the upcoming month.
